iOS 7.1.1. Issues Resolved

Hey, all!

After a lot of hard programming on Jay’s part, and a lot of nail-biting beta testing on mine down at Centerstage, we are pleased to announce the release of Stagecaller 1.3 in the App Store. Backgrounding has been fully restored, and there are some slick updates (Delete all sounds option, emergency “panic” button option that allows users to stop sounds by changing the volume on the device once it starts ringing, updated MIDI and OSC protocols.)

Of course, with iOS 8 coming out in the autumn (announced today) we’ll likely be making more revisions in the fall.

We are also studying the question of how to maintain legacy iOS options, as it’s getting pretty impossible to continue updating forward while maintaining iOS5 compatibility for the older iPhone 3G’s. We’ll let you know what we come up with on that front.
